Honor trolls Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge with thinner Magic V3

Honor is trolling Samsung for its newly launched Galaxy S25 Edge handset. The Chinese tech giant never misses a chance to tease its most significant rival in the market. This time, the company has targeted the all-new ‘Edge’ device.
Samsung has launched the Galaxy S25 Edge as the thinnest Galaxy phone ever! It is a 5.8mm slim smartphone with ultimate specs. The company calls it “beyond slim”.
The device comes on the ground with a 200MP camera housed in a rail-like lens module, the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and several amazing AI features.
While the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge really seems an unbeatable flagship, Honor has defeated it in the simplest specification – thickness. The tech giant compared the newly launched Galaxy handset with its thinnest device – Magic V3 foldable.
Honor shared a teaser, showing the Magic V3 in an unfolded state and the Galaxy S25 Edge. The former device measures 4.35mm (unfolded), whereas the latter has a thickness of 5.8mm. The Chinese phone maker further mocks Samsung, saying:
“Why thin if you’re making compromises to get there?”

The image also reads – THIN without the catch, implying that Magic V3 did not compromise parts or specifications to get a slim look, unlike the Galaxy S25 Edge.
Galaxy S25 Edge features a 3900mAh battery. Meanwhile, the Magic V3 has a 5150mAh battery despite a 4.35mm body. The camera parameters are almost the same.
Both devices belong to different segments (regular and foldable phones). Hence, it won’t be right to choose a winner between them. Though a real-life usage of both devices can reveal which model wins this competition.
