Honor to launch a new Magic 8 ‘Pro Mini’ phone this year: Rumor

Honor will likely unveil the next flagship Magic lineup in 2025. Unlike every year, the company might introduce an interesting model this time. A leak says Honor could launch a brand-new Magic 8 Pro Mini smartphone by the end of this year.
Magic lineups contain three models: Standard, Pro, and Ultimate. The phone maker introduced a new Porsche variant in 2023 and continued the trend since then.
All these models equip big screens and give a dynamic feel to the hands. But a Weibo tipster hints that Honor is working on a new Mini flagship this time.
DigitalChatStation says that one of the Top 5 phone makers could launch a new Pro Mini smartphone later this year. As per info, Huawei, Honor, OPPO, Xiaomi, and Vivo are currently the top 5 Chinese phone rankers. Among all these brands, Honor slightly fits in this leak as others already launched small-screen devices.
OPPO is expected to launch a 6.3-inch small handset in H1 2025 whereas, Xiaomi has been offering small phones for years. Vivo has already unveiled its X200 Pro Mini version in October last year. Huawei launches Mate lines in the second half of the year with four main models and has a separate line (Pura) for small handsets.
Thus, Honor might release a new Magic 8 Pro Mini version by the end of this year. The accuracy of the current info is doubtful. Hence, let’s take this info with a grain of salt and wait for some official details on this matter.
