Honor Smart Screen leaked in live image, shows a glimpse of Hongmeng OS

Honor’s first TV series will be unveiled on August 10 at Huawei Developer Conference 2019 and ahead of its official unveiling, the TV has appeared in a live image with a glimpse at Hongmeng.

The image is coming from Weibo and shows the Honor Smart Screen with Hongmeng operating system. It also shows the Settings menu including Display settings, Sound effect settings, Health, My Car, Device Synchronization, Account Manager and there’s a detailed view on the right hand of the display showing “Check for Updates”.

If we look at the design the TV contains a slim bezel around the corner and Honor branding on the bottom center.

According to Honor, the Smart Screen is equipped with an AI pop-up selfie camera, and the main hardware is powered Hongjun 818 smart chip with octa-core processing, it supports 8K at 30 frames and delivers integrated Histen sound quality optimization technology. The AI chips enable AI capabilities such as face recognition and more.

The Smart Screen will come in two screen sizes including a ‘Pro’ version with a larger display, as more information will be revealed at HDC 2019.
