Honor Play 60 smartphone certified with Dimensity 6300 chipset

A new Honor phone named Play 60 has been spotted on one of the Chinese device databases with a Dimensity 6300 chipset. It also reveals the overall design, model number, and certain key specifications, hinting at its nearing launch.
Honor Play 60 has appeared on the China Telecom device library with the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. It is an octa-core 6nm chip featuring two Cortex-A76 cores at 2.4 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0 GHz.
Starting with the design, the Honor Play 60 has thin bezels all around the display. It features a single punch hole design on the front to house the selfie sensor. The right side (from the screen) shows volume rockers, while the left has a power button.
The device has a giant camera module on the back with two star rings. Looks like the main lens is housed in the first (golden) ring. The second one shows an LED flash.

The listing reveals that the Honor Play 60 smartphone will come in three colors: Xiaoshan Green, Moyan Black, and Yulong Snow. It features a 6.61-inch LCD screen with 1604 x 720 pixel resolution and efficient display capabilities.
Play 60 will further adopt a 13MP rear main camera and a 5MP front-facing selfie-shooter. It could measure a thickness of 8.39mm and weigh 197 grams. The storage variants will be: 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 256GB.
Apart from these specs and design details, the price and launch date of the new model is currently unknown. But we may grab the details later.
