Honor Magic V5 to overtake OPPO Find N5 in telephoto camera power

Honor Magic V5 will not only surprise users with its slimmest design but also with advanced telephoto camera power. The company has now shared another teaser for its upcoming foldable, confirming certain camera specs ahead of the launch.

A new teaser reveals that the Honor Magic V5 will feature a 64MP ultra-sensitive AI super telephoto camera. The OEM says the foldable has the highest pixel-periscope telephoto camera and can capture the beauty of all details from miles away!

That’s a superior telephoto upgrade from what the OPPO Find N5 has. The Find N5 comes with a tri-cam setup featuring a 50MP periscope telephoto 3x zoom sensor.

But Honor says that with the power of AiMage imaging technology, Magic V5 brings the most stunning macro photos, irrespective of the distance and lighting conditions.

Luo Wei, Honor’s chief imaging engineer, further shared the sample shots of the Magic V5 telephoto camera. The minute details of the leaves, beetle, and coffee beans suggest that the foldable has actually mastered the art of zoom photography.

The executive says the new foldable supports telephoto macro mode, which makes it the strongest camera foldable phone. On the greener side, the AI-powered imaging system brings end-cloud collaborative AI KERNEL and AI ecosystem.

These additions ensure that the device offers cleaner and more detailed shots in every scenario. Inputs add that Magic V5 supports OIS and AI super telephoto capability.

Magic V5 has more interesting features and specifications that Honor will unveil on July 2. By that time, the company will drop new teasers, raising consumers’ excitement for the upcoming flagship foldable smartphone.
