Honor Magic V5 foldable rumored to sport a new gold color option

Honor Magic V5 is in rumors to bring a brand-new gold color scheme. The foldable phone will likely debut by the end of this month, unveiling unique features. And one of the surprising parts can be the device’s appearance and its colorways.

A Weibo tipster has shared the Honor Magic V5 “expected” color options. It says that the upcoming flagship foldable will come in four beautiful shades: Velvet Black, Snow White, Tundra Green, and Silk Gold.

The first three shades are the same as the previous generation model. But the firm could introduce a shiny gold color scheme for Honor Magic V5 foldable this time.

Other parameters like the screen, camera, and AI features are unknown at present. Although the Chinese OEM could announce the new-gen foldable soon via an official launch teaser. By that time, let’s explore the expected features of the device.

Honor has seemingly followed the path of its former parent firm, Huawei, and will probably name the next generation book-type foldable – Magic V4 (skipping V4).

The folding smartphone could pack the largest battery with a capacity of 6100mAh. It may support 66W fast charging just like its predecessor. For reference, Magic V3 has a 5150mAh cell with 66W wired, 50W wireless, and 5W reverse wired charging.

Early inputs mentioned that the Magic V5 could be less than 9mm thick, defeating the latest OPPO Find N5 (8.93mm, when folded). Also, it may sport a powerful 200MP periscope camera, without leading to any camera compromises.

Magic V5 can further feature an 8-inch LTPO internal screen and a 6.45-inch cover display. The Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset could power the device. Let’s see what else upgrades the Magic V5 foldable will bring over its predecessor.
