Honor Magic V5 could go official this month with jumbo 6100mAh battery

A new leak reveals that the Honor Magic V5 foldable phone will launch by the end of this month with a massive 6100mAh battery. This time, the all-new generation folding device is expected to feature a 20% bigger battery than its predecessor.

DirectorShiGuan and many other Weibo tipsters are now saying that the Honor Magic V5 foldable will release later this month with a dynamic battery.

Earlier, BaldPanda tipster on Weibo mentioned that the Vivo X Fold 5 will feature a 6000mAh battery with 90W wired and 30W wireless charging. Following the leak, netizens asked for details about the upcoming Honor Magic V5’s battery.

The tipster responded that the Magic V5 will use a 100mAh bigger cell than the Vivo X Fold 5. Simply put, it may adopt a 6100mAh battery. If true, the device will be the world’s first foldable phone with the biggest battery ever.

DirectorShiGuan further added that the Magic V5 is the perfect example of a lightweight and super-thin foldable phone. The company has made great improvements in terms of the thickness to defeat the latest OPPO Find foldable in the market.

On the flip side, the upcoming foldable phone will likely equip the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and deliver advanced satellite communication features.

The device can measure 9mm thin when folded, compared to the previous-gen model, which has a dimension of 9.2mm. At the same time, the company could sport an 8-inch large folding screen with the device. A 200MP periscope camera is also seemingly underway.
