Honor Magic V4 may use 8-inch main screen, 50MP main camera
Honor Magic V4 is coming with probably a bigger screen and an improved main camera. A new leak sheds light on the display parameters and lens upgrades of the folding phone. It will likely be thinner and more powerful than its predecessor.
According to DigitalChatStation, the Honor Magic V4 foldable will feature an 8-inch inner screen and a 50MP main camera. The company may adopt a bigger display panel this time with a thinner design and probably advanced visual technology.
Inputs reveal that Magic V4 will use an LTPO OLED screen for both internal and external display. It may further use a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.
Regarding the main camera, Honor Magic V4 may continue a 50MP primary shooter similar to its predecessor. Although the company could upgrade the periscope sensor.
The company has introduced a dynamic periscope camera with the Magic 7 series. Perhaps it may use the same lens technology for the Magic V4 folding phone.
Although the tipster did mention that due to the thinning of the device, the company may use an ordinary periscope camera for the Magic V4 handset.
Honor has said to remain the crown holder of the thinnest as well as lightest foldable phone. One of the company’s executives noted that the upcoming folding device will bring more powerful technologies and capabilities over its rivals.
The target is expected to be the OPPO Find N5 that has recently debuted as the thinnest folding handset. Honor Magic V4 will likely debut in June this year with its vertical foldable sibling: Magic V Flip 2.
