Honor Magic V3 is considered the thinnest foldable in the market but looks like the device will soon get an even slimmest rival. Yes, a new foldable is in the making that says to phase out Honor’s recent creation in terms of a slim appearance.
We are talking about the OnePlus Open 2 which is the pipeline. The device is said to challenge Honor Magic V3 foldable as the slimmest rival ever in the market.
Magic V3 won the crown of the thinnest foldable phone last year. The device when folded measures only 9mm. It’s a surprising dimension for a folding handset as most regular smartphones measure even more than this figure.
The tech giant breaks down one of the biggest challenges of foldable phones: their thickness. Looks like OnePlus may soon join the “slimmest foldable” trend.
OnePlus Open was a rebranded sibling of the OPPO Find foldable. Tipster SmartPikachu suggested that OnePlus Open 2 may have similar capabilities as the OPPO Find N5. Meanwhile, another tipster @DigitalChatStation said that the OPPO Find N5 is going to be the thinnest in the world with a new titanium design.

If true, OnePlus or OPPO may surpass the Honor Magic V3 foldable as the world’s slimmest folding device. It may eventually set a new record in terms of thinness for foldable handsets. Other details of the new device are unknown at present. Although we may soon hit more revelations on this matter.
