Honor Magic 8 series tipped to bring 6.3-inch, 6.6-inch models

Honor could feature Magic 8 models with 6.3-inch and 6.6-inch screen sizes and new-gen technologies. The flagship smartphone lineup is expected to debut around October. It may bring more innovative surprises over its predecessors.
Magic 7 series launched last year in October with 6.78-inch and 6.8-inch screens. These are considered big phones that can be easily used with one hand and provide an efficient reading, viewing, and browsing experience to users.
But the latest rumors suggest that Honor will focus on slightly smaller phones this year. An early leak reported about a Magic 8 mini phone. Now the current information reveals the screen sizes of the two Honor Magic 8 models.
Weibo tipster SmartPikachu says that Honor can launch 6.3 and 6.6-inch Magic 8 models in the second half of this year. The former screen option will probably be used for Magic 8 mini. While the latter can appear on basic and Pro variants.
The tipster further mentioned that these smartphones may bring improved face recognition system, ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, impressive satellite capabilities, and wireless charging.

A rumor claimed that Honor is testing 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and face recognition for its next-gen flagship. These new biometric features will enhance the user authentication method, making it more secure as well as convenient.
Honor is currently preparing two new GT smartphones to launch next month, as per leaks. Meanwhile, Magic folding handsets are also in the pipeline.
There is still a lot of time before the official unveiling of the Honor Magic 8 series. By that time, details about the flagship lineup, features, and the firm’s strategies can change. We may hear more rumors about potential upgrades in the future.
