Honor Magic 8 flagship series has started emerging in leaks, and the latest one highlights its screen sizes. Inputs reveal that the company will adopt three different display dimensions, focusing on all types of smartphone users in the Chinese market.

Weibo tipster @SmartPikachu suggests the upcoming Honor Magic 8 series could have three different screen sizes. The lineup will have small, medium, and large display panel models. One of these may also introduce a new display solution.

Inputs further reveal that the Magic 8 models’ screens will range from 6.3 to 6.8 inches. That further hints, the rumored 6.3-inch small Honor flagship could belong to the upcoming smartphone lineup. Though a confirmation is required.

Here, the standard model may feature a 6.3-inch screen, whereas the Magic 8 RSR could use the 6.8-inch display panel. The Pro variant may equip a 6.59 or 6.6-inch screen. Honor is expected to use LTPO OLED screen technology for these handsets.

For reference, Magic 7 has a 6.78-inch display panel while the Pro and RSR Porsche Design variants have a 6.8-inch screen. Looks like the company has different plans for the successor smartphone lineup.

Small, medium, and large-size phones will eventually cover all types of users in the market. Not everyone likes large, bulky handsets. Some prefer a compact device for daily use. Meanwhile, work professionals often choose a big-screen handset.

Using a ” lineup with different screens” strategy, Honor likely wants to increase its foothold in the mid-to-high-end smartphone market. Also, a small-sized device seems to be a new rival for the Apple mini iPhones.
