Honor Magic 5 series starts getting MagicOS 9 AI Connect feature

Honor is now rolling out the AI Connect file sharing feature to the Magic 5 series smartphones. The company has released this significant capability for its home ground device owners. Though it will soon bring it to global phone holders.

The tech giant introduced AI Connect as one of the most amazing parts of its ALPHA plan. It enables users to easily share files like images, videos, documents, and more between MagicOS and iOS devices without any interruptions.

While the feature is still away from many top global brand devices, it has made its way to some eligible Honor phones like the Magic 7 and Magic 6 series.

You don’t need any third-party app or a USB cable to connect your devices before sharing the data. Just access the AI Connect feature via the Honor Connect app and transfer files between iPhone and iPad, experiencing high-speed data sharing.

Honor Magic 5 series smartphone users are getting AI Connect feature via the MagicOS 9.0.0.175 update. The firmware has a downloadable size of 1.56 Gigabytes.

Apart from the AI Connect feature, the latest update also unlocks some new photo-editing tools such as AI expressions, watermark editing, and more:

• AI Reflection Removal: Added the feature of removing from images. Path: Gallery > Images > AI Edit > Magic Photo > AI Remove > Reflection Remove.
• AI Wrinkle Removal: Added the image wrinkle removal function. Path: Gallery > Image > AI Edit > Magic Photo > AI Removal > Wrinkle Removal.
• Dynamic photos: Added the dynamic photo puzzle and edit feature. Path: Gallery > Select multiple dynamic photos > Create > Puzzle.
• AI Expression: Added the feature of restoring facial expressions in photos. Path: Gallery > View Portrait Photos > AI Edit > Magic Photo Repair > Face Restoration > Expression Restoration.
