Honor executive has confirmed the release of a ‘magical’ foldable in H1 2025. Rumors began surfing about the company’s next book-type and flip phones. Meanwhile, the official has revealed a specific timeline for one of these folding handsets.
Li Kun – the Product Manager of Honor Devices, recently dropped a message on Weibo for its consumers. The post reads that he has been asked several times about Honor’s new foldable. The curtain will fall from the model in the first half of this year.
The executive added that the thinnest and lightest Honor foldable phone is in the making and will debut in H1 2025. It would be the first device in the industry with the most slim-trim design and a lightweight feel like no other folding smartphone.
In particular, Li stressed the point that “Honor will still be the lightest and thinnest” foldable phone maker. The Manager revealed the news when OPPO is ready to unveil its most slim and sleek foldable – Find N5 in the consumer market.

Earlier we reported that Honor Magic V3 will soon get a thinnest rival from the OPPO/OnePlus family. The titanium-based Find N5 foldable will likely have “less than 8mm” thickness when folded. For reference, Magic V3 has a 9mm thickness.
Looks like Honor is ready to once again challenge the foldable world with the thinnest and most innovative folding handset. Perhaps, it would be Magic V4 phone.
Honor V4 is rumored to debut in May at the earliest. It will sport new design changes and high-end AI features. While other specs are unknown, its launch time is a bit certain. It would be worth seeing what surprising upgrades the device will bring to fight back its rivals in the foldable phone market.
