Honor GT Pro smartphone to feature 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor

Honor executive has confirmed 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for the GT Pro smartphone. The device is set to launch later this month with flagship-level features and specifications. Perhaps the highlight will be gaming and security parameters.

Charlie Du, the Honor GT series product manager, dropped another post on Weibo, hyping the key specs of the upcoming high-end model. The post reveals that the GT Pro will feature a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor relies on ultrasonic waves. It scans a user’s finger and creates a detailed 3D image of every detail, like pores, finger ridges, and valleys. It’s secure and accurate as it works even when the finger is wet or dirty.

Apart from the 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, the device will feature a lot of Pro-grade specifications. For instance, the Honor GT Pro will use giant rhino glass for extreme drop resistance and a metal middle frame for a better appearance.

In terms of connectivity, the device will support dual-frequency GPS and triple-frequency Beidou connection. The manager further shared the GT Pro’s front image, suggesting that the device will have a flat screen with a vertical edge design.

Another post of the executive reveals that Honor GT Pro will support a 144Hz refresh rate. It will bring a circular polarized light eye protection screen with a motion sickness relief feature. Thus, users will enjoy an amazing viewing experience.
