Honor certifies TUR-L19 smartwatch with satellite features

Honor has recently certified a new smartwatch with the model number TUR-L19. The device has entered the Chinese certification database and may soon be available for sale. Ahead of the launch, here are some key specs of the wrist gadget.

Tipster @WangzaiKnowsEverything shared an Honor smartwatch on Weibo, with the model number TUR-L19. It is seemingly an upgraded version of the Honor Watch 5 launched last year alongside the flagship Magic 7 smartphones.

As per the certification listing, the new Honor smartwatch supports satellite communication. The device is compatible with both China Mobile and China Unicom eSIM telecom operators. It installs a 480mAh battery with a wireless charging base.

Other parameters of the watch include Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, Beidou, and more capabilities. It will likely offer a far better and more seamless experience than its predecessor. We may grab more details about this watch in the coming days.

The tipster further implied that Honor may adopt better hardware capabilities and software features for the upcoming wearable. However, what new changes the device will bring on board over its predecessor are currently a secret.

Honor Watch 5

Watch 5 comes in five bashing colors: Pine Green, Obsidian Black, Morning Gold, Moon Shadow Gray, and Snow White. Consumers can easily swap the straps as per their preference. Honor Watch 5 measures 45.6 x 39.4 x 11mm.

The wearable equips a 1.85-inch AMOLED color screen with 450 x 390 pixels resolution and a maximum refresh rate of 60Hz for a smoother visual experience.

It contains various sensors like acceleration, gyro, geomagnetic, heart rate (PPG), and ambient light. The watch sports a single button and rotating crown. It provides 10 days of battery life in eSIM mode and 15 days of battery life in Bluetooth mode.
