Today, Honor announced a new X70i smartphone in China with a super-light design and impressive colors. Along with its launch, the device is now also available for pre-sale. The company has scheduled the official sale for April 30.

Honor X70i comes in four colors – Magnolia Purple, Velvet Black, Sky Blue, and Moon Shadow White. It has a rounded-square camera bump on the back and a pill-shaped cutout on the front. The overall design is elegant and minimalistic.

X70i measures 161 x 74.55 x 7.29mm and is light at 178.5 grams including battery. It has a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with 1080 x 2412 pixels resolution, 3500 nits peak brightness, 120Hz refresh rate, 1.07 billion colors, and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.

In terms of internal configuration, the device equips a Dimensity 7025 Ultra chip coupled with an IMG BXM-8-256 graphics processing unit. The CPU architecture is:

  • Two cores of Cortex-A78 @ 2.5GHz
  • Six cores of Cortex-A55 @ 2.0GHz

The device runs Android 15-based MagicOS 9.0 with Magic Anywhere Door, AI Face Swap Detection, and Smart Capsules. It features a single rear camera with a 108MP HD sensor (f/1.75) and an 8MP selfie sensor on the front face.

Honor X70i comes with a 6000mAh battery supporting a 35W charger. On the flip side, it has an IP65 rating, 2.4GHz and 5GHz WLAN, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and various sensors like gravity, under-screen fingerprint, virtual gyro, compass, ambient light, and proximity sensor.
