Last April, Honor debuted the low-budget smartphone, Honor 9S for its Indian consumers. It sports 5.45 LCD display with HD+ (1440 x 720p) resolution, MediaTek Helio P22 processor, Magic UI 3.1, 2GB+32GB storage, 3020mAh battery, and more.

Now, Honor has kicked off a new firmware update for the Honor 9S device. This update mainly installs security notes released in February 2021 that defends the phone against threats.

February 2021 Security Patch Details: This February 2021 security patch fixes different levels of exploits and issues within Huawei smartphones including 2 critical, 26 high, and 77 medium levels of CVEs.

Apart from this, recently, it was reported that the Honor 9x smartphone captured while testing HarmonyOS mobile developer beta and it was really surprising. Also, it shows that the company is preparing the HarmonyOS all the way to the Kirin 810 platform.
