Honor 9N gets December security update, Honor 9 Lite grabs November

Honor is rolling out the latest security updates to many of its smartphones and now Honor 9N and Honor 9 Lite also added to this list the latest updated smartphones.

Honor 9N is grabbing the latest security update with EMUI version 9.1.0.131 with the size of 217MB and brings fixes to 3 critical, 24 high and 1 medium level of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) found on Huawei/Honor smartphones.

Honor 9 Lite receiving November update with EMUI version 9.1.0.147 with 207MB size and install fixes to 3 critical, 15 high and 1 medium level of vulnerabilities found on Huawei/Honor smartphones.

You can check the update via instructions below:

Go to Settings > System > Software update > Check for Updates. If an update is available, it’ll ask if you want to download it.

Or by going to HiCare > Update > Check for updates.
