Honor 90 series is preparing to launch and it will bring a brand new MagicOS 7.1 (Android 13) software feature. Although Honor has already introduced MagicOS 7.1 with the past flagship, we ought to know what kind of changes it will bring to the upcoming Honor 90 series.

A small input on the matter reveals that Honor 90 will use a brand new MagicOS 7.1 control center user interface. This seems interesting, as MagicOS already has introduced Control Panel for the users.

MagicOS 7.1:

Honor introduced this smartphone with Honor Magic 5 series. It consists of various new features based on MagicOS 7.0. Later on, Honor rolled out the update for previous models such as – Honor Magic 4 Pro in the global market.

Specifically, MagicOS 7.1 is a close copy of EMUI 12. There are new large folders, a control panel with quick access switches, a smart device manager, and a notification center. The addition of this new MagicOS 7.1 feature could bring ease of access to the Honor 90 lineup.

Certification:

Recently, Honor phone models – REP-AN00 and REA-AN00 received 3C certification. These phones are identified as Honor 90 Pro and Honor 90 respectively.

The certificate shows that Honor 90 Pro (REP-AN00) has a charger with model number – HN-200500C05/C06 and it could output a maximum of 100W (5A, 20VDC) capacity. It also supports backward compatibility at 66W (6A, 11VDC).

The Honor 90 (REA-AN00) equips an HN-110600C00/C01/C02 supported charger. While it supports a charging input of 66W (6A, 11VDC) and backward charging compatibility of 40W (4A, 20VDC), as well as 10W (2A, 5VDC).

Past input suggests that Honor 90 series will come 1.5K resolution adaptive high-refresh-rate display. The display also has PWM dimming technology. The Honor 90 will equip Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 chip.

200MP camera:

Honor 90 Pro sports 200MP Samsung HP3 ISOCELL camera, which is an upgrade to the 160MP camera used in the Honor 80 Pro.

Launch date:

It’s expected that Honor 90 series will unveil by the end of this month or by early June. However, an official confirmation is yet to come.
