EMUI 10 for Honor 8X rolling out in Canada

Honor has started upgrading its X-series smartphone – Honor 8X with EMUI 10 in most of the global markets (list linked below).

However, the rollout is still on the early stages of expansion and users on Reddit reported that the EMUI 10 has now reached Honor 8X in Canada.

EMUI 10 for Honor 8X brings the latest features and changes in user interface design including the magazine-style UI layout, Morandi UI color system, and the new Dark Mode, which provides users comfort while using their smartphone in the low light scenarios.

Just remember that it may take some time to reach your devices because the update will progress in batches.

Versions:

The EMUI for Honor 8X in Canada comes with EMUI version 10.0.0.175 and size over 3.5GB. The same version is also rolling out for most of the global users.

Follow the instructions below to check for update:

Via Settings:

1. Open Settings
2. Click on ‘System’
3. Click on ‘Software update’
4. Click on ‘CHECK FOR UPDATES’
5. Click on ‘Download and install’

Via HiCare:

1. Open HiCare app
2. Click on ‘Services’ tab
3. Click on ‘Update’
4. Click on ‘CHECK FOR UPDATES’
5. Click on ‘Download and install’
