Honor 400 series to introduce dynamic photo wallpapers feature

Honor 400 series will debut in China tomorrow, and before that, the firm has now announced that the new digital lineup will come with a dynamic photo wallpapers feature. It will be the first Android phone to support this capability.

Dynamic wallpapers are generally animated backgrounds that change over time, unlike static ones. These wall posters can display subtle movements like flowing bubbles, shifting gradients, or changes based on the time of day or location.

Although Honor is giving a twist to this amazing feature with the addition of images. From the details, the company will enable users to apply their photos as wallpapers and get an animated look throughout the image, every time.

The company’s official product maintenance page has shared a GIF in the community, revealing the Dynamic photo wallpapers feature for the Honor 400 series.

Just like dynamic wallpapers, the new feature gives an animated effect to your normal images, making them move. It could act as a small video of your own, instead of any particular image from downloads or theme store.

The company further announced that the Honor 400 series will be the first Android phones to use dynamic photo wallpapers. Interestingly, Honor has confirmed to bring the latest wallpaper feature to more devices in the time ahead.

“After the first launch of Honor 400 Pro, other models are also being adapted one after another.”

Honor 400 series has already made its way to the global market. Now it will launch in China on May 28 (tomorrow). It would be worth seeing what new changes the Chinese variant will bring on board, compared to its global siblings.
