Honor 400 series Malaysia launch confirmed via a new teaser

Honor today shared a new teaser on Facebook, suggesting that the next-gen digital series – Honor 400 is launching soon in Malaysia. The mid-range lineup may initially debut in the global market and then step into the Chinese market.

The company dropped a mysterious teaser implying the launch of the Honor 400 series in Malaysia. It highlights a giant camera module with three lens openings.

At the top, the teaser reads “Next-Gen AI Imaging”. Perhaps the new model will feature surprising camera features and AI photo-editing capabilities for consumers.

Honor says:

“New-Gen AI Imaging is coming soon, and we’re ready to revolutionize the AI imaging experience!”

Responding to the teaser, many netizens speculated that the device is the new Honor 400 series 5G. Meanwhile, a few followers guessed it as an Honor Power phone.

The company hasn’t mentioned the device’s name. Although the “coming soon” in the teaser hints that the new smartphone will launch this month. Perhaps Honor will drop more clues about this handset, alongside its moniker, in a few days.

Expected Specs:

Honor 400 series will likely feature two models: Standard and Pro. The base variant could bring a 6.55-inch AMOLED flat screen with 5000 nits peak brightness and 120Hz refresh rate. It may equip a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip.

The device could come with a dual-camera system including a 200MP main shooter and a 12MP ultrawide sensor. The front can use a 50MP selfie lens. It may also adopt 8GB RAM and 256GB or 512GB storage options. For the battery, Honor 400 can pack a 5300mAh battery with 66W fast charging.

On the other hand, Honor 400 Pro can sport a 6.7-inch quad-curved flat AMOLED screen with the same display capabilities as the standard sibling. It may install a downclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset coupled with 12GB RAM.

The company could use a combination of 200MP + 12MP + 50MP (telephoto) lenses for the Pro variant. It may have a 50MP selfie snapper, a 5300mAh battery, and 100W wired fast charging.
