Honor 20, V20 and Magic 2 update brings new system stability improvements

In the past few days, Huawei has rolled out the HarmonyOS 2.0 version 2.0.0.165 update to several devices. The company is still expanding this firmware to more eligible smartphones and tablets in China. However, the updated content varies is vary depending on the models.

According to the latest information, the same HM OS 2 version is rolling out for Honor 20, Honor V20, and Magic 2 series phones upgraded from the previous version 2.0.0.145.

What’s New in this software update?

The updated content is very limited and just carries optimization for the display interface of the control panel. Furthermore, it also improves the overall user experience.

These Honor phones running the stable HarmonyOS 2.0 can enjoy the latest features of this new OS, which are currently being rolled out to a bunch of devices in the form of beta.

Honor V20: 

The Honor V20 (View 20) sports a 6.4-inch display with 2310 x 1080 pixel resolutions. It is powered by Kirin 980 processor and paired with 6GB/8GB RAM along with 128Gb/258GB internal memory.

The device packs a 4000mAh battery with supercharge technology. In terms of software, it comes pre-packed with Magic UI 2.0.1. Furthermore, it equips two 48MP cameras on the back and a single 25MP lens for selfies.

Honor 20:

Honor 20 comes with a 6.26-inch FullView display and a premium back design with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It equips a 48MP quad rear camera setup and a 32MP front camera in a punch hole setup.

The device is powered by Kirin 980 AI chipset with Dual NPU and packs a 3750mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging. In software terms, it comes pre-packed with the Android 9 based Magic UI 2.1. It is paired with 6BG RAM and 128GB ROM.

Honor Magic 2

The Magic 2 is Honor’s older flagship phone that comes with several high-end features and a premium design such as a 6.39-inch 2.5D AMOLED FullView display, it is powered by Kirin 980 processor.

It comes with a retractable front camera with 3D-Portrait mode on selfies. The smartphone equips an in-display fingerprint scanner along with IR face unlock. Furthermore, it also packs a 3400mAh battery along with a 40W fast charging.
