At Huawei Developer Conference (HDC) 2019, Huawei unveiled its self developed operating system, HarmonyOS, a new microkernel-based OS designed for cross-device experience among all devices and scenarios. The operating system is also known as Hongmeng OS in the Chinese market.

Recently, a well-known tipster from Weibo has shared some images showing HarmonyOS and Hongmeng OS logos. Both of these logo designs are different from each other, as one includes English letters “HARMONY” with a different icon and the other one includes Chinese saying “Hongmeng” with another icon.

Currently, it’s not confirmed whether they’re just prototype of something but it may be the preparations for the upcoming developer event. After its launch last year, Huawei still not launched an official website portal for the HarmonyOS neither its logo.

HDC 2020 is coming and it’ll bring a number of new software technologies for the Huawei Ecosystem. Meanwhile, we’re awaiting what Huawei going to unfold on the HarmonyOS section.

According to the HarmonyOS development roadmap, Huawei this year will unveil the HarmonyOS 2.0/Hongmeng OS 2.0, supporting PCs and Smart Wearables. At the event, Huawei will also launch the EMUI 11.

Huawei Developer Conference 2020 will held from September 10 to 12. Check more information below.
