Huawei may use two types of screen sizes for the upcoming P70 series and meanwhile, a new leak suggests that high-end models of this lineup could equip the 6.8-inch quad-curved screen. Perhaps, this would be the largest display parameter for these handsets.

Tipster @BeijingDigitalMaster recently added more details to the display specs of the Huawei P70 series and said that the high-end models of this family will use the 6.8-inch screen solution. This further hints that the standard variant could feature the 6.58-inch display panel, similar to the P40 Pro device.

Speaking of the screen solution, the Huawei P70 series is likely to use the largest screen dimensions compared to all the previous P-series models. Notably, the P60 Pro uses a 6.67-inch display whereas, the P50 Pro relies upon a 6.6-inch screen.

Thus, this could be the possible implementation:

Huawei P70

  • 6.58-inch+2.5D 1.5K LTPO display technology

Huawei P70 Pro, P70 Pro+, P70 Art

  • 6.8-inch+2.5D 1.5K LTPO display technology

It is worth mentioning that the list of top-end handsets in the P70 lineup shows the alleged P70 Pro+. Thus, we may find not three but four models in the approaching P-series, with the return of the Plus phone. Though official words are still awaited.

Past Reports:

The Chinese tech maker continues to explore new solutions for the Huawei P70 series. Whether we look at the optical framework with three new lenses, the design, the Kirin 5G processor, or the high-density battery aspects. Eventually, the display segment is no exception to this theory.

Huawei is putting efforts into making the P70 lineup one of the best smartphone series in the entire P family. Up to this point, we heard that the devices will use a powerful triple lens structure with dynamic photography functions. Besides, the battery upgrade will provide efficient energy to the device for running all day long.

The Huawei P70 series is expected to launch in March. The development process is in full swing and we may bump into more interesting information in the coming days.
