High-end Honor 400 models tipped to equip Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip

A new leak says that the high-end Honor 400 variants will use a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. These could be the Pro and Ultra models of the upcoming digital series. Meanwhile, the standard version could use a simple upgrade over predecessors.

Weibo tipster @SmartPikachu shared the processor details of the Honor 400 series. The information suggests that the small-screen model (standard Honor 400) will run on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, offering efficient performance.

On the flip side, the high-end Honor 400 variants will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. These devices may sport a large quad-curved screen than the standard model.

For reference, the Honor 300 uses the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, whereas the Pro and Ultra variants are equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Looks like the company will continue the same processors for its top-end upcoming digital series models.

In terms of screen sizes, the Honor 400 series is expected to feature 6.5 and 6.7-inch display panels. It may bring some interesting capabilities as well as improved visual effects. At the same time, the device may sport a new camera system and appearance.

The company could also introduce new AI beauty features with the new digital series. Other specs and capabilities of the device are under the hood. Though we may find them later.
