‘Hi Nova’ brand to launch on December 2, a Huawei Nova Series counterpart

China Post Communications Equipment’s subsidiary Hi Nova is expected to launch a new smartphone on December 2, which will be similar to Huawei Nova series phones reported by Chinese media. Meanwhile, Huawei mobile and China Post remain silent on this matter.

Last August, China Post opened an official Weibo account with the name Hi Nova. On November 25, the company has posted its first banner that hints at the soon arrival of a new phone. According to information, the launch is likely to happen at the beginning of next month – December 2.

More information reveals that the China Post will do the same as TD Tech, NZone, and more did. Simply just “copy-pasted” the Huawei smartphone and placed their logo on the devices.

Similarly, Hi Nova will unveil Hi Nova 9 and Hi Nova 9 Pro but there will be differences in processors and software systems. The Hi Nova 9 series will use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G 5G and EMUI 12 software system based on the bottom layer of Android 11.

More interestingly, EMUI 12 comes with UI features similar to HarmonyOS but Hi Nova phone software doesn’t use the direct name “EMUI”. It is just the beginning of leaks and news of the Hi Nova smartphones. Stay tuned!

Huawei Nova 9:

Huawei Nova 9 features a 6.57-inch OLED display with FHD+ (2340 x 1080) resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, center hole-punch design, and curved edges, and a new display fingerprint for a more convenient screen unlock.

This phone expands 160mm x 73.7mm x 7.77mm and 175g, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor for faster task executions but it only has a 4G LTE model. Talking about Software, it is equipped with EMUI 12 that has HarmonyOS vibes.

It packs with 4300mAh battery along with a 66W super fast charge and USB Type-C input. The Nova 9 comes with Interestingly, the phone comes with EMUI 12 operating system, 50MP quad-camera system, and 32MP selfie camera
