Hi Nova 12z unveiled with 108MP camera, 4500mAh battery

Today, China Post unveiled another rebranded version of Huawei Nova 12 as the Hi Nova 12z. The company has shelved the device on the official VMall store. It has efficient specs like a high-res camera, a big battery, an octa-core chip, and more.

Hi Nova 12z has an identical appearance to the Hi Nova 12 SE. The camera module has a huge star ring at the top followed by a pill-shaped frame, housing one lens and LED flash. The device has curvy corners with sleek and thick sides.

Such an elegant shape makes the handset easy to hold and carry around. The rear panel exhibits a gradient finish with the “Hi Nova” branding at the bottom center.

It has thin bezels all around and equips a 6.67-inch OLED screen. The display supports FHD+ resolution with 1080 x 2400 pixels, 1.07 billion colors, 100% P3 color gamut, 10 touch point multi-touch screen, 395 PPI, and 91.85% screen-to-body ratio.

The phone measures 7.48mm in thickness and weighs 185 grams. Unlike, the 12 SE model, the z-tagged model is available only in a golden classic black color.

On the front side, you will get super high image pixels – thanks to the 32MP (f/2.45 aperture) selfie camera. The back side houses a giant 108MP (f/1.9 aperture) + 2MP in-depth sensor (f/2.4 aperture). It supports anti-shake mode and 10x digital zoom.

Speaking of the internal parameters, the device runs on the Android OS and is equipped with an octa-core chipset. Although the processor details are not listed yet.

Hi Nova 12z unveiled with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It is a 4G-capable handset and powers up with a 4500mAh battery, supporting 66W fast charging.

Price:

The Hi Nova 12z is priced at 2199 yuan. While the company has listed the phone on the Huawei Mall, it is currently out of stock. Though China Post will soon refill it.
