Here’s everything about old Huawei phone memory upgrade plan

Recently, Huawei launched the Huawei smartphone memory upgrade plan for the older device in order to resolve the memory management on low-memory devices. This plan offers three storage options of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB covering almost years old devices such as Mate 9 and P10 with the Krinn 960 SoC.

The main purpose of the company behind this hardware upgrade plan is to grant a little longer life to these devices and let the user cherished their moments with the phones for a long time. The devices not only upgrade their storage capacity but also prepares smartphones for HarmonyOS upgrade.

Coming to the memory upgrade plan, it’ll cover both Huawei and Honor devices with an upgrade cycle of 10 – 15 days. Besides, Huawei also providing the Huawei Mate 30 smartphone as a backup device to keep their data safe. The series which are decided for this hardware upgrade plan are mentioned below with their corresponding replacement campaign.

  • Huawei Mate and P Series – from July 2021
  • Huawei Nova and Enjoy Series – from August to September 2021
  • Honor Smartphones – from October to December 2021

Users can upgrade three device capacities including 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB at the discounted price that is charged on the basis of storage after the upgrade. Somehow this campaign will prove to be a great help in the establishment of the HarmonyOS as it only relies on the company smartphone for the moment. Besides, Yu Chengdong, CEO of Huawei Consumer Business Group has announced that HarmonyOS has been installed on over 40 million devices showing the steady development of the operating system.
