HarmonyOS-powered Huawei MateBook Pro and foldable PC begins first sale

On June 6, Huawei MateBook Pro and the foldable PC featuring the new HarmonyOS operating system are now on sale. Both notebooks pack some dynamic software features and tech-pack capabilities that offer a whole new user experience.

In recent times, the MateBook Fold Ultimate Design is gaining more attention than the MateBook Pro. The reason is its 18-inch folding screen that makes it an iconic PC.

As of now, Huawei has opened the foldable and MateBook Pro PC for its first sale. Both devices are available at the online VMall store with the following prices:

• MateBook Pro (24GB + 512GB) – 7999 yuan
• MateBook Pro (32GB + 1TB) – 8999 yuan
• MateBook Pro (32GB + 1TB PaperMatte) –  9999 yuan
• MateBook Pro (32GB + 2TB PaperMatte) – 10999 yuan

Specifications

MateBook Pro: The device is available in three colors: Blue, White, and Black. It has a 14.2-inch OLED Cloud Clear PaperMatte screen with 3120 x 2080 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 1000 nits peak brightness, 100% sRGB, and P3 wide color gamut.

The device packs a lithium polymer 70Wh battery with a 140W superfast charger and an upgraded heat dissipation technology that powers up the device as well as eliminates extra heat. It also has a Celia Smart key that easily activates your AI virtual assistant for many tasks.

Huawei MateBook Pro has a new super privacy switch that turns off the camera, mic, and location info in one touch to shield your privacy. It supports HarmonyOS 5.0 with smart gestures, Nearlink tech, and more.

Foldable PC: The notebook comes in three shades, including Black, Blue, and White. It has an 18-inch screen, which becomes of 13-inch screen when folded. The device uses a double-layer OLED screen with a 3296 x 2472 pixels resolution, 1600 nits peak brightness, P3 wide color gamut, and 1440Hz PWM dimming.

It packs a 74.69Wh battery and integrates a basalt waterdrop hinge tech. It runs HarmonyOS 5 and supports the Harmony AI-powered Celia assistant to ease daily tasks.
