Huawei is preparing to launch the HarmonyOS PC on May 19, and ahead of that, the company has revealed how the new device can seamlessly perform multi-device collaboration. A new video teaser shows significant features of HarmonyOS PC.
The company is ready to launch its first HarmonyOS-powered PC in the market. It has already unveiled the device at the May 8 Technology Event. But it has scheduled the official launch of the powerful PC product for May 19.
As of now, the company has shared a HarmonyOS PC teaser on its official Weibo page, revealing the key features that make multi-device collaboration more efficient than ever. The top five features that make cross-device connection smooth are:
- Cross-device clipboard: Copy-paste images on tablets, phones, and other devices seamlessly.
- Cross-device interoperability: Directly turns on the document scan page on phones and imports pictures even when the screen is turned off.
- Hand-eye collaboration: Press the shortcut key, and the mouse will automatically appear on the target device where the user’s eye is focusing. The feature can also work with the cross-device clipboard.
- App Continuation: App running on the current device can easily transfer to other devices.
- Huawei Share: Supports one-to-many device transmission in one go.
Note that all these features require HarmonyOS 5.0 devices. HarmonyOS PC will debut next week with more surprising features. Stay tuned.
