HarmonyOS 3.1.0.156 for Huawei P60 Series expanding

Two weeks ago, Huawei began to release HarmonyOS 3.1.0.156 for the Huawei P60 series in China. Since its global counterpart runs the EMUI system, this new upgrade was only relatable as home ground exclusive.

According to the changelog, it has various new features and the reason for the delayed rollout for some models is totally based on staged release. However, now all of the users have access to this new firmwaare.

According to the changelog, Huawei P60 series models can download this new update with a package size of 1GB. Specifically, the update brings new optimizations for App Guard, improves system security, and provides a new confirmation before launching a pop-up window.

The addition of a pop-up window will help to raise the security to not let your phone open any unwanted links or webpage. This also enables users to keep a watch on any accidental page jumps or links.

The newly added system stability improvements improve the phone’s performance and provide a better user experience.

On the other side, the update also contains improvements for photography. Huawei is consistently improving the Huawei P60 series camera with a new upgrades and this one is no different, HarmonyOS 3.1.0.156 also has new enhancements for camera quality and color accuracy.

Launched in March this year, the Huawei P60 series comes with HarmonyOS 3.1 out of the box. It has various exclusive features, including the camera zoom ring and instant menu. HarmonyOS 3.1 also smoothens the animations.
