Last week, Huawei started expanding Huawei P30 May 2022 update in the global market. These phones now run EMUI 12 software, upgrading from EMUI 11. Although Huawei phones in the global market run an Android-based EMUI, its Chinese counterpart models feature the HarmonyOS operating system.

Huawei P30 series May 2022 update is currently airing for smartphones with EMUI 12 firmware and the Chinese tech firm is making sure that the phone receives proper treatment with the latest software enhancements.

According to the changelog, the latest Huawei software update brings only the security patch and consumers can download this update via Settings > System & updates > from here tap on Software updates. Now, tap on CHECK FOR UPDATES and then follow the consequent on-screen instructions to get the latest EMUI to build.

If available, you can download the firmware by tapping DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL. Afterward, wait while the update installs. If the update is not available for your smartphone, then do remember that these rollouts progress gradually in different markets, and rollout process may take some time to cover all models.
