About Data safety section:

In May 2021, Google has initially announced to add the Data safety section in Play Store. Further, it brought more details on it in July- October. According to those details, developers must be needed to explain their apps’ privacy and security by filling a form in the Play Console.

By April this year, App developers will be able to see the Data Safety section on Google Play Store. Users can make out how their app manages or shares user data and why, before downloading.

Time limit:

Until July 20, 2022, the developers must report how they collect and manage the user’s data for published apps and for the latest app recommendations and updates. If developers have uncertain problems with Play Store, applications will be declined at that time during these issues. Thus, declinatory apps may face actions in the future like- apps can be removed from Google Play.

More information:

Developers will be only answerable for creating whole and proper declarations. Google Play checks all apps for policy conditions, however, judgment can’t make on behalf of devs of how they manage user data.

When Google knows the variance between your information and app behavior, it may carry the correct step together with administering action via Play Console Help users can also see if your app shares user data.
