Google add the review and delete too in Google Photos

In June last year, Google announced to change the storage privacy policy of Google Photos. Following the statement, it has taken some steps and installing some new changes in this photo viewing and storage application.

As per the information, Google Photos is rolling out a new feature called “review and delete”. At the same time renaming the Storage Save.

You can see this new feature in Google Photos, for this follow the steps

  • Open the app
  • Click on your account profile icon pled on the upper right corner
  • Go to the Google Account storage
  • Tap on the Back-up & syn menu
  • Here you will find the Manage Storage button
  • Tap on the Review and Delete option

This new feature allows you to take a review of large photos and videos as well as blurry photos and screenshots.

Only photos and videos that count towards your Google Account storage will appear in that section, where you can review and delete your data to manage the storage and keep it free for a long period of time.

Note- Any photos or videos backed up in High quality before June 1, 2021, will not count toward your Google Account storage. These photos and videos will remain free and exempt from the storage limit.

Google is rolling out this feature from May 24th, if you still didn’t receive it, we recommend you wait patiently. After updating it will be easier to manage the storage space.

In addition, it will also be changing the name “High Quality” to “Storage Saver” for a clearer understanding of users.
