Xiaomi 15 and 15 Ultra global launch is around the corner and these flagship models will likely come out of the box with HyperOS 2.1. A new leak sheds light on what version the upcoming top-end models will enter in the overseas markets.
Lei Jun – the CEO of Xiaomi Technology recently confirmed the launch dates for the Xiaomi 15 series. As per the Weibo post, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will go live in China on February 27. Meanwhile, the official global unveiling will take place on March 2.
After the launch date confirmations, many tipsters started speculating about the key features of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra. One of these bloggers revealed software details.
X tipster @chunvn8888 said that Xiaomi 15 and 15 Ultra global units will run HyperOS 2.1 out of the box. The device will launch worldwide on March 2 and bring the x.1 version with incredible features and UI enhancements.
HyperOS 2.1 is the latest version in the Xiaomi world. The company has recently kicked off the build in the global market with the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. More devices like Xiaomi 13 Pro and POCO X6 Pro have started receiving the major upgrade.
Looks like the company will seed the same version to its upcoming flagship models for global users. The Chinese Xiaomi 15 Ultra variant may run on HyperOS 2.2.
