Huawei Mate 60 series is quite popular in China and the phone comes with a custom Kirin 9000s chip designed and developed by Huawei. Therefore, its architecture is unknown to some of the top games including Genshin Impact.

Following the launch, many of the Genshin Impact gamers reported not getting optimum performance during gameplay. The main issue is identified as unfamiliar chipset architecture.

Therefore, Genshin Impact developers have customized the phone specially for the Huawei Mate 60 series devices. In that case, Genshin Impact will be updated to version 4.1 tomorrow during a maintenance period at 6 AM local time in China. The official details about the rollout mentioned the Huawei Mate 60 series, which is a good sign for the players.

Once updated, Huawei Mate 60 series users will not face any of the issues in graphics as well as performance. As for now, the Kirin 9000s chipset consists of a 12-core architecture, which had remained at 8-core until the past update. After a HarmonyOS software upgrade, Huawei has unlocked all 12 cores in action.

The architecture includes two A34 cores, six customized A78AE cores, and four A510 cores, with a maximum frequency of 2.62GHz. This chipset has Huawei’s custom Maleoon GPU.

Genshin Impact is an open-world, action role-playing game that allows the player to control one of four interchangeable characters in a party. Switching between characters can be done quickly during combat, allowing the player to use several different combinations of skills and attacks.

To reiterate, Huawei Mate 60 series users can download the Genshin Impact 4.1 update via AppGallery on September 27.
