Garena Free Fire ob29 update is live, new Lone wolf mode, characters, and more
Garena Free Fire has released the OB29 update patch and bring a new 1v1 lone wolf mode together with new weapon capacity, character adjustments, and the most awaited clash squad season with a new function.
For more flawless gameplay, Garena optimized the current functions and fixed the previous bugs in the game. Asides from the adjustments, some new characters are also introduced that will be available in no time.
The new Lone Wolf mode is the highlight of this update that will be a 1v1 new map iron cage mode. Let’s move forwards and check what new features and optimization the players will get this time.

Clash Squad Season:
Clash Squad Rank Season 8 brings a new Golden AN94 for the player with rank Gold III or more. The players have the chance to achieve this golden weapon skin until October 29. A new request feature was also introduced allowing players to request their teammates for purchasing an item directly to their inventory in casual and ranked mode.
Besides, payers can now choose to display their backpacks in Clash Squad from the Vault after this update.
New Features and Characters:
Four characters including Jota, Luqueta, Shani, and Alvaro have undergone some adjustments for eliminating the flaws. Besides the new tanning modes introduces and three new characters are line up to arriving soon.
- Grenade Range: This new update installed a new grenade range in the training ground to practice their basic moves with this throwable.
- Dimitri: This new character will come with a healing heartbeat skill, providing help for the hurt by covering.
- Thiva: Vital Vibes is the specialty of this newcomer that can greatly reduce the recovering time.
- Sensei Tig: A new pet with great skills of reducing man-marking skills on enemies
New Items and Weapons
This update brings a new marksman rifle AC80 with 10 magazines slots and piercing shots on enemies. It can be attached with a muzzle, grip, and stock for better gripping.
Furthermore, There are new weapon attachments to customize weapons more strategically based on the situation. It includes shotgun muzzle, SMG Muzzle, and AR Magazine with an increased fire rate. Besides, there is a long list of weapons and attachable adjustments for batter gameplay.
- Weapon upgrade available for M4A1 using M4 chip
- UZI has a 10% effective range increment, two more magazines, and minimum damage of 8% compared to previous
- The rate of fire and recoil has increased 10% and 5% respectively or XM8 AR
- The shotgun SPAS12 will have added muzzle and scope attachment slot with a 15% increase range capacity
- Unlike other weapons, the M1887 has lost its capacity- 6% of armor penetration, 8% for range, and 5% of fire rate
- MP40, P90, Thompson, Vector, and MP5 will come with muzzle attachment slots
- Double Magazines will have a reduced capacity of about 20%
