Huawei has already published a February 2023 security patch details earlier this month and now we have got a look at the update cadre of devices that are enlisted to receive the latest EMUI update.

Each month, Huawei rolls out security patches, software improvements, system optimizations, and stability improvements. These types of software releases come in batches via OTA upgrade methods.

Speaking of which, Huawei has rolled out January 2023 security patch for almost all of the smartphones in the global market. This is good progress but we now have to wait for the February 2022 security rollout, which is not yet detected for the time being.

EMUI 13 is also missing in the action, which is a matter of concern and frustration for global users, as the wait is expanding without any details.

Below you can check the updated list of February 2023 Huawei EMUI devices.

  • Huawei Mate series: Huawei Mate 40 Pro, Huawei Mate 50, Huawei Mate 50 Pro, Huawei Mate Xs 2, Huawei Mate Xs
  • Huawei P series: Huawei P40, Huawei P40 Pro, Huawei P40 Pro+, Huawei P50, Huawei P50 Pro, Huawei P50 Pocket, Huawei P50 Pocket Premium Edition, Huawei P40 lite 5G
  • Huawei nova series: Huawei nova 10, Huawei nova 10 Pro, Huawei nova 10 SE, Huawei nova 9 SE, Huawei nova 9, Huawei nova 8i, Huawei nova 8, Huawei nova 7 5G, Huawei nova 7 SE 5G, Huawei nova 7i

Below you can check the quarterly devices.

  • Huawei Y series: Huawei nova Y60, Huawei nova Y70, Huawei nova Y70 Plus, Huawei nova Y90

Despite having these devices on the list, I could make a dispute there are still some models that aren’t mentioned above but are actively getting new firmware builds, which is quite strange.

All and all, if your phone is receiving a new software update and it is not mentioned in the list, don’t worry, it’s just a piece of official names.
