EMUI 9.1: Features and Settings updated in the camera app

We’ve already discussed the new features of EMUI 9.1, as well as changes made in its system and today we’ll going to discuss certain features and settings have been updated in the Camera app, within EMUI version 9.1 compared to its predecessor EMUI 9.0.

EMUI 9.1 Review: This should be EMUI 10

Camera feature comparison between EMUI 9.0 and EMUI 9.1.



Reference line:

EMUI 9.0: Go to Camera > and enable Assistive grid.

EMUI 9.1: Go to Camera > Settings > Assistive grid and select an option according to your preference.

Moving picture:

EMUI 9.0: Open Camera and touch Moving pictures icon on the top toolbar to enable Moving picture.

EMUI 9.1: Go to Camera > More to enable Moving picture.

EMUI 10: Latest news, release date, features, and eligible devices

Master AI:

EMUI 9.0: Go to Camera > More > Download to download and install Good food mode.

EMUI 9.1: Open Camera and touch AI icon to enable Master AI.



Other Notable Features

Food mode:

EMUI 9.0: Go to Camera > tap Settings icon to enable Master AI.

EMUI 9.1: Touch AI icon to enable Master AI. Your phone camera will automatically detect and enable Good food mode.

AI Zoom:

EMUI 9.0: You can find AI video zoom under Camera > Video > Settings.

EMUI 9.1: This has been deleted in EMUI 9.1.

4D predictive focus:

EMUI 9.0: Go to Camera > tap Settings to enable 4D predictive focus.

EMUI 9.1: 4D predictive focus is enabled by default and cannot be disabled.

Smart object recognition:

EMUI 9.0: Go to Camera > More to download and install smart object recognition.

EMUI 9.1: You can use HiVision by swiping down from the middle of the screen.

3D panorama:

EMUI 9.0: You can find 3D panorama under Camera > More.

EMUI 9.1: This has been deleted in EMUI 9.1.
