Huawei P30 Pro is the most popular smartphone in the Huawei flagship series but it is not a part of the EMUI 13 upgrade plan. Given the fact that Huawei P30 Pro still rules among its owners, the phone should receive the next major update.

However, the rollout plan currently includes only 11 devices, which raised the question of the eligibility of many models. Still, there’s no supreme denial on the rest of the smartphones.

Aside from these Huawei is still sending new software update for the Huawei P30 Pro in the global market. As the phone currently runs EMUI 12, which has revamped the user experience. The new additions to the flagship bring security patches. Yet, some users are still waiting for a fix for camera blur, which is a big issue.

In China:

In its home ground, Huawei P30 Pro runs HarmonyOS 3 operating system. Since Huawei heavily integrated HarmonyOS 3 features in EMUI 13, the Huawei P30 Pro in the global market should also be eligible to install this new upgrade. However, we will have to wait for an official announcement on this matter, which will give us some more information.

EMUI 13:

This new EMUI version comes with features such as smart folders with multiple layouts. This organizes the on-screen apps and helps you to manage the home screen. The animations are also improved. Furthermore, EMUI 13 brings service widgets, swipe-up gestures, super devices, stack and group widgets, and more.

How to update:

You can check for the latest software by navigating to Settings > From here you need to tap on System & Updates. Now open the Software update, and now CHECK FOR UPDATES. The phone will connect to the server to check a new firmware version.
