Huawei‘s latest EMUI version – EMUI 12 has been a game changer for global smartphones. How? Let’s find out and look into the prospects.

Launched last year, EMUI 12 comes with a brand new user interface that was taken from HarmonyOS 2 operating system. Many of you wanted to test HarmonyOS since its launch in 2020 in China.

EMUI 12 directly takes elements of UI from HarmonyOS. These include a control panel, notification center, large folders, better app icons, smoother actions as well a new font family.

The new EMUI version also brings you better smart device management with – Device+. The company has made EMUI 12 to draw all expectations that you as a consumer had with HarmonyOS.

Even without installing HarmonyOS, EMUI 12 brings you a similar user experience in the global market.

In my opinion, the new look is way better than EMUI 11 and there are many aspects that you could like about EMUI 12. These new changes weren’t available in EMUI 11 or so.

For Old Devices:

Aside from graphical changes, old devices could also install EMUI 12. That doesn’t sum up the statement, let’s dig more into this.

EMUI 12 is an upgrade for devices that have not even upgraded with EMUI 11 or EMUI 10.1. Such categories are filled with devices: Huawei P30 lite, P40 Lite series, and Nova 7 series.

Moving on, models such as Huawei Mate 10 and P20 series has also received EMUI 12. The new software has completely changed the user experience for corresponding users.

HarmonyOS:

Even if HarmonyOS remained enclosed for Chinese Huawei devices, the tech maker continues to feed in new features for global users and EMUI 12 is the prime example of this evolution.

Hence, we can clearly say that EMUI 12 is a game changer. A kind of change that Huawei consumers have been waiting for since the HarmonyOS 2 launch.
