ECG version of Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro goes on pre-sale, first sale on December 21

Launched in October, Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro comes with various new features and there is also an ECG version of this smartwatch, that is now available to reserve. Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro ECG model is priced at 2688 yuan ($410) and will be on sale starting December 21 in China alongside the standard Huawei Mate 40.

What’s ECG Feature?

ECG can record your heartbeat and rhythm using the electrical heart sensor built on the smartwatch. Then check the recording for atrial fibrillation (AFib), a form of irregular rhythm.

The ECG records an electrocardiogram which represents the electrical pulses that make your heartbeat. The ECG checks these pulses to get your heart rate and see if the upper and lower chambers of your heart are in rhythm. If they’re out of rhythm, that could be AFib.

Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro ECG sports a 1.39-inch display touch screen display with sapphire glass. The body of this smartwatch is made of Titanium alongside two physical steel keys on the right.

The Watch GT 2 Pro offers 32MB of RAM, 4GB internal storage, GPS, and 5ATM water resistance. It packs with a 455mAh battery to deliver battery life up to 12 days. Last year, Huawei launched Watch Buds in China and soon this smartwatch will make a debut in the global market. The inputs reveal that Huawei is preparing to bring this 2-in-1 smartwatch to global consumers but a date is yet to be confirmed.

Huawei Watch Buds comes looks like a regular smartwatch with a dial and a rotating crown on the right. However, you can flip open the watch face and there are two wireless earphones inside.

These are simple earplugs that fit inside your ear, however, they are not similar to the FreeBuds series. Each of these earphones weighs only 4 grams, which is light to wear. According to Huawei, the company has tested Huawei Watch Buds opening and closing mechanism over 100000 times.

Inside the box, there’s a magnetic maneuver that helps you to place the earphones safely without worries.

Speaking of which, the watch also has technology that lets you charge the earphones internally. The earphones also have noise cancellation and calling support, which is essential for a new generation of wireless earbuds.
