Huawei has recently released December 2021 security patch devices for devices running on HarmonyOS operating system. At the same time, the company has also published the latest device list that includes both Huawei and Honor models, which will receive the December 2021 HarmonyOS software update.

The HarmonyOS December 2021 devices consist of two sections – Monthly and Quarterly. The models receiving monthly update belongs to Huawei Mate and P series. While the quarterly section includes Nova, Maimang, MatePad, and Honor series devices. To be mentioned, Huawei has already begun the rollout of the latest security improvements for its devices including smartphones and tablets for both the Huawei and Honor brands.

So, what are the fixes with December 2021 security update? Well, it fixes 1 CVE in the framework, 2 CVEs in the kernel, 3 CVEs in the system, 3 CVEs in the application as well as 62 CVEs in the third-party libraries.
