Dark mode officially arrives in WhatsApp for all users

After months of beta testing, WhatsApp has finally brought the new “Dark Mode” for Android smartphone users.

The new Dark mode works natively with the system dark mode settings. So when you turn on the dark mode on your smartphone it’ll automatically turn the dark theme in the WhatsApp.

On the other hand, Android 9 and below users can turn on this new feature by the following instructions:

• WhatsApp Settings
• Chats
• Theme
• Select ‘Dark’

Users can also revert back to the ‘light’ theme via the same instructions.
