Chinasoft launches home control tablet with HarmonyOS

It’s interesting to see open-source Huawei HarmonyOS progress among users and the industry, as recently Chinasoft International has launched a home control tablet that runs open source HarmonyOS operating system.

This new smart control tablet is built by Chinasoft International and it is powered by Rockchip RK3568 quad core A55 platform. This Chinasoft home control tablet has pre installed KaihongOS operating system, which is based on open-source HarmonyOS, OpenHarmony.

In terms of display, the tablet features a 10.1-inch fully scratch-resistant glass with multi-touch support. It is designed mainly for smart home use cases.

Chinasoft said the KaihongOS provides a powerful base for this tablet for the smart home ecosystem. It will create a digital smart user experience suitable for different fields such as homes, real estate, and hotels.

The company cooperates with local ecosystem partners to speed up OpenHarmony transformation of equipment. It also contributes to the development of the digital industry.

Previously, Chinasoft International launched a 15 inch industrial central control system tablet. It is equipped with RK3568 chipset and has a massive 15-inch TFT LCD liquid crystal touch screen.

OpenHarmony:

At Huawei Developer Conference 2022 (HDC 20) Huawei launched HarmonyOS operating system. In the following year, Huawei announced it to donate all of its source code to China’s OpenAtom foundation.

Since then, OpenAtom is expanding cooperating with industry partners, and collaborating to increase the number of users. To do so, Huawei is distributing compatibility certificates with the latest open source software versions.
