September 25, 2020:

Huawei Mate 40 series is completing different certifications to get its launch by October. Meanwhile, leaks and rumors for this upcoming flagship continue to appear online to keep us hyped on what the Mate 40 series put on the table.

Meanwhile, a set of new live images of Huawei Mate 40 Pro has appeared Weibo that shows this smartphone inside a big protective case and features a wide pill-type punch-hole display as well as a curved screen.

Except for the design similarities, the Mate 40 Pro in the image seems big compared to the Huawei P40 Pro and features bigger curved edges. However, there’s no not much of the information cited on its specifications.

According to the TENAA certificate, Huawei Mate 40 sports a 6.5-inch display, 4000mAh battery, NSA/SA dual-mode 5G, and more. It measures at 167.8 x 77.1 x 9.95mm compared to Huawei Mate 30 with 160.8 x 76.1 x 8.4mm, which shows that the Mate 40 will be bigger compared to the last year’s Mate 30.

Phones from this series will be powered by Kirin 9000 processor, 65W charging, and come pre-equipped with EMUI 11.
