Breaking: Honor View20 starts getting Magic UI 3.1/EMUI 10.1 in Europe

Following the Honor 20 series, Honor has now released Magic UI 3.1 (EMUI 10.1) for the Honor View20/Honor V20 in the global market, starting Europian countries.

A few days ago, Honor 20 and 20 Pro began receiving this major software update in Europe. While the rollout is expanding gradually and soon begin in other regions.

Users of Honor View20 can upgrade via the Support app to receive new features provided by the Magic UI 3.1. Back in May, Honor 20, 20 Pro, and View 20 got stable Magic UI 3.1/Android 10 along with 10 other devices in China.

Magic UI 3.1/EMUI 10.1 for Honor View20 brings new features such as Mult-Window mode, Multi-screen collaboration, Huawei Assistant, Smart Charge, and more.

Magic UI 3.1 (EMUI 10.1) for Honor View20 rolling out with version 10.1.0.211 and an OTA package size of 4.81GB.

Multi-Window:

Allows you to multitask with ease in Split-screen mode, and send messages using a floating window while watching videos or playing games. Swipe in from the left or right edge of the screen and pause to display the Multi-Window dock. Hold an app icon in the dock and drag it to the side of the screen to enter a split-screen view, or touch an app icon to display it in a floating window.

Call answering:

Allows you to pick up voice and video calls on your phone from your Huawei laptop.

File editing:

Allows you to directly read and edit files on your phone from your Huawei laptop, and also share your phone’s network and sync notifications.

Huawei Assistant:

Adds Huawei Assistant to the home screen, providing smart reminders personalized news, and other content relevant to.

Battery:

Adds the Smart Charge mode, reducing battery aging by adapting to your charging routine through AI learning and preventing the battery from being continuously charged when full. (This feature is enabled by default.)

Huawei is rolling out the November 2022 EMUI update for the Nova 9 SE smartphone. Currently, the latest update is hovering in the Middle East markets, and the company will gradually release it in the global region.

November 2022 is about to end and Huawei is pacing the update distribution. After the flagship devices, the company has turned its face to the mid-rangers to circulate the freshly-released EMUI security patch.

In the latest edition, Huawei Nova 9 SE users in the Middle East are receiving November 2022 EMUI update with the 12.0.1.177 version. On the other hand, the package size is 335 MB, which may vary in different regions.
