Huawei Wireless SingleOSS Product Line President, Ma Hongbo address the Global MBB forum with his speech. He presented five different viewpoints under his deliverance on “5Go S.M.A.R.T., Ushering Wireless Networks into the Intelligent and Autonomous Era”.

During the keynote deliverance, he emphasizes that network intelligence has been recognizing as the wireless autonomous driving network foundation. The network engines are preparing for the ability to self-learn and self-evolve with the help of enormous network data.

In addition, precise network algorithms and different approach models are also being prepared, escorting the network technology towards independent thinking. However, it’s still lacking a good synchronization between autonomous driving networks in mobile communications.

According to the Huawei president, the autonomous driving network current lies between L2 and L3 technology in the mobile network field. The industry needs joint efforts to bring both networks to the same level.

He further explains Huawei is willing to put more effort in terms of level criteria, evaluation systems, and application collaboration to established an autonomous driving network. the company holds serval projects and continually collaborating with operators and industry partners to create smart autonomous networks.

Industry Reports:

The industry reports show, industry and operators’ hierarchical recognition for driverless driving is becoming the center approach of operators. Furthermore, a recent white paper survey forecasts a positive image for future autonomous technologies.

According to the report, the analyzers surveyed about 42 independent network operators in the industry. Among them, about 80% are confident in their technologies and approaches for stationing fully autonomous driving networks that will a large-scale deployment within a decade.

To be mention, it was the 12th Global Mobile Broadband Forum, held in Dubai on the 13th of October. Its purpose is to bring the industrial leaders and global partners together to discuss the mobile network and adjacent vertical ecosystems.
