August 2022 EMUI update reaches Huawei P40 Pro global users

Huawei is sending the August 2022 EMUI update for the Huawei P40 Pro users. The update mainly aims to boost the performance of the system by integrating security patches into it. The August 2022 update is rolling out in batches and the distribution of the update has been started from Europe.
The P40 Pro users were eagerly waiting to experience the new software update on their smartphones. As per the information, the latest August 2022 EMUI update for Huawei P40 is arriving on EMUI 12 build version 12.0.0.266 (C432E3R4P5), and the update holds a mini installation size of 361 megabytes.

 

Let’s take a look at the Changelog of the update:

This time the changelog of the update has come up with the improvement in the security system, the security patches are integrated into the system to provide a more secure experience to its users by fixing the bugs and issues in the previous software version. Besides, there are no other changes.
You can download the update via the Settings app on your Huawei P40 Pro smartphone. Open Settings, then tap on Software updates under the System & Updates option, Click on the Download and Install option. Your phone will restart after installing the update.

Huawei P40 Pro is the flagship smartphone in the P series. The phone features a 6.5 inches OLED display with a 90Hz screen refresh rate and supports a quad camera system with a 50MP main camera, 40MP ultra-wide lens, 12MP periscope lens, and a 3D depth camera on the rear side while, a 32MP camera on the front side of the phone.
The phone boasts a 4200 mAh battery that supports wireless charging, powered by HiSilicon Kirin 990 5G processor.
The August 2022 update is currently available for Huawei P40 Pro users in Europe. However, the company will soon expand the update in other regions as well.
